Read how our flourishing and sustained network enabled Christian Mutuality to source a Senior Functional Analyst. This role was vital to ensuring the client's continued success, keeping their team of analysts coordinated and operating effectively. The Senior Functional Analyst would not only identify problems and oversee the implementation of their recommended solutions but they would also be expected to perform complex tasks and undertake Scrum Master duties too.
The Brief: A Hybrid Role As Belgium’s biggest health
insurance fund, it was vital that our client was able to find an experienced Senior Functional Analyst who could provide advice and fact-based assessments to drive and benefit their business needs. But that was not all – this candidate would need to fulfil a combination role of Analyst and Scrum Master. We needed to find someone who would not expect a full-time Scrum Master position and who had the relevant analysis experience paired with Scrum Master background (ideally, five years).
The Challenge: The Need for a Network
Our client needed to find the right person for the role quickly, as other soft searches found candidates who could not fulfil the entirety of the brief. Due to the experience required and the flexibility of the position, the challenge lay in finding a suitably agile candidate who could fulfil expectations for analysis and handle the dynamic responsibility of improving and monitoring the team as Scrum Master.
Our Approach: Utilising the Ntrinsic Network
At Ntrinsic, our consultants make sure they fully digest and understand the brief supplied by a client so that they can offer insight and foresee any potential hindrance. The approach for Christian Mutuality’s request involved a thorough and in-depth search of available ICT candidates in our extensive network. Our search yielded multiple CVs, which were read cover to cover to ensure any recommendations for the role were the perfect match. From this shortlist, we made a minimum of 20 phone calls to make sure candidates were suitable and had the relevant Scrum experience before progressing.
The Solution
Our extensive network paired well with managerial expertise and our team’s passion for communication. This allowed our consultant to choose the best candidates and showcase how smooth the recruitment process could be, even for a hybrid and complex role such as this one. After careful screening, the successful match was identified as one of the early conversations held by telephone. We put forward this candidate to the client.
The Result
We were able to successfully shortlist and present the perfect candidate to Christian Mutuality from our pool of talent. This saved the business time, effort and money and allowed them to continue their business analysis with a safe pair of hands. As a result of our actions and reliability, we are confident that Christian Mutuality will allow us to continue to assist with their future recruitment needs.
