Project Manager Industrial Solutions

Our client is a fast-growing innovator in the nanotechnology market. They develop, manufacture and market state-of-the-art scanning probe microscopes for imaging and manipulation of surfaces at the nanometer range. They work at the limit of what is physically possible and develop all the mechanical, electronic, optical and software components necessary for best-in-class instruments.

Tasks

Based in Liestal (Switzerland) you collaborate closely with our client's industrial solutions to assist in the development and distribution of customized industrial AFM systems. Using your excellent communication skills, you will manage several industrial development projects with our key industrial customers in parallel. You will be responsible for the supplier management, resource planning as well as customer communication. You will also organize and be part of many technological aspects of the projects like system design, manufacturing, installations, and customer training.

Requirements

You are in possession of a PhD or master’s degree in engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or  equivalent field, and have several years of hands on experience in project management for machine development. You excel through your result-oriented and practical thinking and acting. 

You use your communications skills to quickly pick up, understand, and clarify customer needs. Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Gantt charts, and time planning tools are essential. In stressful situations you remain calm, never lose track of the big picture, and oversee the next necessary steps to lead the project to success. You are an open-minded person with the ability to organize large and diverse teams. You are also fluent in spoken and written English. Scanning Probe Microscopy experience is a plus.
